I would like to personally thank you for your armor, and armor kits. They work! I am working in Iraq. On 11-17-03 We were on convoy to our work-site when a vehicle attempted to strike one of our vehicles in the convoy. The vehicle was a VBIED, (Vehicle Born Improvised Explosive Device) suicide attack.

The vehicle was engaged by our security element and did not strike the target and detonated approximately 10 feet away. The intended target vehicle was totally destroyed, but the occupants were able to extract themselves from the vehicle and get into another vehicle without assistance. The two occupants of the SUV were not injured. I am an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) tech working for a civilian company. There is no doubt in my mind that your armor saved their lives.

There was enough explosives (Estimated 1,000 lb) in the VBIED to disintegrate it to the point where one person could pick up the largest piece by themselves. The target vehicle remained mostly intact with the outside skin holed and ripped away.

Your armor was not penetrated. Thank You!
